Privacy notice
Updated 18 September 2026. This notice explains what personal data henkifood.fi collects, what it is used for and what rights you have.
1. Controller
Henki Food is not yet a registered company, so the controller is a private person:

Once the company is entered in the Finnish Trade Register, this section will carry the company name, business ID and postal address.
2. What is collected
The site has one contact form. It asks for:
- company name
- contact person's name
- email address
- phone number (optional)
- town or city
- role in the company (optional)
- estimated monthly need (optional)
- a free-text message (optional)
The service that relays the form also records the time of submission and the sender's IP address to filter spam. Nothing else is collected: there is no visitor analytics, no advertising identifier and no profiling.
3. Purpose and legal basis
The data is used only to answer your enquiry: to send the sample and the price list, to agree on delivery and to manage the customer relationship.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries).
The data is not used for newsletters or marketing messages without your separate consent.
4. Who the data is shared with
The data is never sold or passed to third parties for marketing. Three service providers process it on our behalf:
- Formspree, Inc. (United States)
- relays the form to email and stores submissions in its service
- Zoner Oy (Finland)
- hosts the mailbox the messages arrive in
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States)
- serves the site and protects it from abuse
5. Transfers outside the EU
Formspree and Cloudflare are United States companies, so data may be processed outside the EU and EEA. Any such transfer relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or another safeguard under Chapter V of the GDPR.
6. How long the data is kept
Enquiries are kept for 24 months from the last contact. If an enquiry becomes a customer relationship, the data is kept for the duration of that relationship and afterwards for as long as accounting law requires. After that it is deleted.
7. Security
The connection to the site and the form submission are encrypted. The mailbox and the form service account are password protected and only the controller has access. No data is kept on paper.
8. Cookies
The site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The service that delivers the site may set a technical cookie for security and bot protection. It is necessary for the site to work and does not follow you to other sites.
9. Your rights
You have the right to:
- know what data is held about you
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data erased
- have processing restricted
- object to processing based on legitimate interest
- receive the data you gave us in a portable format
Requests can be sent informally to sales@henkifood.fi. We reply within one month. We may need to verify your identity before releasing data.
If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you can complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
10. Changes to this notice
This notice is updated when the services or practices change. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.
